I was to be picked up at 10:30 pm but my flight was delayed and I did not get to the Phila Airport until near midnight. My driver arrived promptly and was exactly where he said he would be. He was pleasant and helpful. I think his name was Gino. I want to applaud the service I received. I always use De Express and certainly will continue to recommend them to my friends. Thank you!

This much deserved praise is coming 4 months late but better late than never. My family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) had a WONDERFUL trip last April to Niagara Falls. Sherry and Jim are the best and made the trip so enjoyable. Sherry has never disappointed us whether going to Canada or Radio City Music Hall. Jim is such a NICE gentleman, and I felt thoroughly safe with him behind the wheel. Everything was so thoughtfully planned out, and I think all of the passengers felt like family to each other those 5 days together. I can't recommend the Niagara trip enough. We were SO DISAPPOINTED when the trip to Maine in December was cancelled. We were really looking forward to it. Anyway, thank you for a wonderful time! GREAT JOB!

I had the pleasure of working with Kathy this past weekend for a very large wedding where our mutual client had rented two of their coach buses to transport guests. There were multiple logistical items that we talked through which made smooth sailing come wedding day! The time, effort and attention to detail Kathy and her team possesses is incredible! As an event manager we know that transportation sometimes is the last thing that wedding couples think about but it’s the first thing that can cause major issues come the big day, but certainly not with Delaware Express! I without a doubt highly recommend Delaware Express. Thank you again Kathy, Jim and Paul!

I just wanted to let you know that your drivers are absolutely amazing. We always loved Will and then he left and we were worried that we wouldn’t get the same service. James and Louis and the consummate gentlemen and absolute professionals. They were on time every day and the buses were clean and there was never an issue with the equipment or the drivers. They treated our students like they were their own kids and they both have a great sense of humor, which goes a long way on a long trip. They were an absolute delight to travel with and I would love to have both of them the next time we travel with you. Thanks for the wonderful service.

Went to the Cher show yesterday great deal the driver Leonard is a fabulous driver very smooth ride. Sherrie is an awesome guide very informational great voice for the mic and all around fun to be with the show was super and all in all a great day. good deal for the money and time.

A huge thank you to Joe and Terrance for a relaxing and fun ride to and from Philadelphia tonight for the Bruno Mars concert. So nice to not worry about navigating the route and dealing with traffic for our sister birthday celebration. Terrance is a safe and fun companion to have on your trip, you should definitely consider requesting him for your trip. My son had made an advance booking for your company to meet us on arrival. We were so impressed by Tom, your staff, who was waiting patiently on time and greeted us with such a warm welcome. He was ever so helpful and shared details about the other services of Delaware Express such as your day trips. He is a credit to your company! I am sorry that the one-day trip to New York to see the musical “Beautiful” is fully booked. However, your helpful advice on other options is something we will definitely explore. We recently went on a day trip to NYC. Our was the best driver on any trip I have ever taken. I was a driver instructor for many years. It was second nature for me to evaluate his driving in highway and city traffic, and I give him a 100% A+ for his abilities. We all trusted him to make the right decisions on the road. He should be commended for his ability as well as his thoughfulness to all the passengers.

I am writing to acknowledge the excellent service we received from your company on our recent Music Dept trip to Disney. On May 17th – 22nd, our department brought 106 people to Disney for performances and workshops. Your drivers were very professional, polite, well-mannered, and made the trip a safe and excellent experience. I also appreciated the kind words all had to say about my students and the condition in which we kept the bus. All the drivers should be commended, but I would like to take the time to make an extra mention of two in particular. Mike McLain and Barbara Todd were our drivers for the largest part of the trip and they were the best drivers with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working. I cannot in any reasonable way express how professional and exceptional their services was to our group. In 16 years of running band an chorus trips, I have only slept once because I felt so comfortable with the safety and professionalism of the driver and that was a few years ago with Mr. McLain driving your company’s bus. This year I was on a bus with him again and slept comfortably for the second time ever because of my confidence in his abilities. Ms. Todd was also very exceptional in her performance as was expressed by my co-director. I request you put letters of recommendation in the permanent files of Mike McLain and Barbara Todd for representing your company with excellence. I look forward to utilizing your company’s services again.

I would like to write a testimonial for our driver Paul after ANOTHER GREAT TRIP. The trip I’m speaking about was the 4 days to and from Cincinnati, OH for the members of the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band (and for some members of the Atlantic Brass Band). We think of Paul as a member of the band. Of course we hope he will be our driver July 5th, 8th and 24th!! Thank you for your attention to this request.

I am writing you concerning one of your drivers, Don Sapp. Mr. Sapp drove a University of Delaware bus on Saturday, December 19, 2009, to New York to the Metropolitan Opera. My husband and I were among the passengers. The driving conditions going up were bad but coming back they were nearly impossible. Mr. Sapp handled the bus with admirable control and efficiency. All around us cars were skidding and going into ravines as were tow-trucks. Mr. Sapp stopped whenever possible to clear the windshield wipers from ice. He was ever pleasant and composed and very helpful answering any questions. He never sped or took chances and he was always courteous to other drivers. He did himself as well as his company proud. Please give him our thanks. You must be very proud of him. I am sending a copy of this letter to Lori Mayhew at the University of Delaware and asking her to engage Mr. Sapp whenever possible to drive University bus trips and to mention Mr. Sapp’s ability to her colleagues.
